This is my Holy Grail. Collage has been my love and quest from the beginning. Scissors cut paper. Elegant, simple, unlimited. The work of Joseph Cornell has taught me the power of 3 dimensions' simplicity and elegance. The massive collage paintings of James Rosenquist are my Everest. (It is my goal to one day create a hand-cut collage, as large as or larger than, Rosenquist's "F111", 10 feet by 86 feet.) Richard Hamilton taught me humor and irony, Kurt Schwitters and Raul Hausmann gave me freedom to express my inner motives, Jean Arp, grace, Romare Bearden, faith, and the unrelenting technical prowess of Robert Raushenberg, technique.

All of my work is hand cut, hand glued. I seek out vintage wallpaper and antique prints. Original photographs are cut and catalogued. Fabric, stencil and rubber stamp create patina. Many pieces are several layers deep. Layering is created with glass, plexi-glass, or epoxy. Some collages are incorporated with enamel and oil painting.

What in life is not a collage?
