In 1989, Alexander was commissioned to create design concepts for 41 watch faces for the SWATCH WATCH company. He also created design concepts for their womens swimming apparel, as well as various other accessories in the SWATCH WATCH line.

In 1990, Alexander was hired by the publishing house of Chalk & Vermilion Fine Arts, in Greenwich, Connecticut, to create paintings to fill the need of nearly 100 galleries to which they supplied original paintings as well as posters and limited edition serigraphs. Fourteen of his paintings were reproduced into serigraphs and have been sold around the world.

In 1990, Mr. Echo was commissioned to create several advertisements for the ABSOLUT Vodka campaign, including the ad, ABSOLUT ECHO, which ran in publications in the U.S. and internationally.

In 1991, Alexander was asked to create the 'Holiday Card' for Aids Project Los Angeles. His "HAPPY HOLIDAYS FOREVER" card, sold out at a record pace, raising $130,000.00 for the Los Angeles food bank.

In 1991, he was commissioned by ABSOLUT Vodka and TBWA-Chiat Day to create one of Absolut Vodka's largest projects to date. Four 2,000 square foot, 3-dimensional, hand painted billboards, for their Los Angeles, Sunset Strip location. These monumental paintings were seen by nearly 35,000 people per day for 15 months. In addition, Mr Echo designed and coordinated the final Sunset Strip billboard, using 5 artists from various ethnic backgrounds, as a response to the Los Angeles riots. His HAVE-HOPE-HELP-HEAL, billboard design was carried nationally in many upscale publications. Each of these monumental paintings were dismantled and auctioned in pieces to benefit different Los Angeles charities.



In 1999, Alexander created the "IMAGINE LOVE", Swatch Watch, donating all of his royalties to the D.I.S.H.E.S. Foundation for Pediatric Aids and Broadway Cares. His "IMAGINE LOVE" watch sold over 150,000 units and raised over $153,000.00 dollars for children with HIV and Aids. Swatch Watch used his "IMAGINE LOVE" design on billboards and in magazines throughout Europe.

Mr. Echo and singer-songwriter, Billy Joel, worked together in 2000, to create the paintings, "Downeaster Alexa", the sale of which raised funds to publish the book, "Wetland Riders", on the plight of the eastern American, indigenous fishermen, and "New York State of Mind", the sale of which raised funds for various New York City charities.
